Coming into town from Garmisch-Partenkirchen (The South)
Take the freeway to where it ends and connects to "Mittlerer Ring" (the major ring road around the center of Munich). Stay on the left part where the freeway splits and follow the signs to "Stuttgart, Nürnberg" onto "Mittlerer Ring". On "Mittlerer Ring" follow the signs to "Nürnberg, Flughafen München" (about 8 miles, 13 km). When you see the Olympic Stadium and the landmark Olympic Tower on your right hand side, the road divides. Take the right side. "Mittlerer Ring" continues by BMW World and the BMW Four-Cylinder building and enters the Petuel tunnel. Do not exit in the tunnel. The tunnel ends with a glass roof. After the tunnel, stay in the right lane to exit "Mittlerer Ring". Take a right at the first traffic light (to "Zentrum") onto Ungererstraße. At the second traffic light (ca. 0.5 mile/700m; at the gas station), make a left onto Dietlindenstraße. After about 300 feet (100m) on Dietlindenstraße, you will see the office building of Knecht and Partner on the left side of the street.
Coming into town from Lindau (The South-West)
Take the freeway to where it ends and connects to Mittlerer Ring (major ring road around the center of Munich). Follow the signs to "Nürnberg, Stadtmitte" onto "Mittlerer Ring". On "Mittlerer Ring" follow the signs to "Nürnberg, Flughafen München" (about 7 miles, 11 km). When you see the Olympic Stadium and the landmark Olympic Tower on your right hand side, the road divides. Take the right side. "Mittlerer Ring" continues by BMW World and the BMW Four-Cylinder building and enters the Petuel tunnel. Do not exit in the tunnel. The tunnel ends with a glass roof. After the tunnel, stay in the right lane to exit "Mittlerer Ring". Take a right at the first traffic light (to "Zentrum") onto Ungererstraße. At the second traffic light (ca. 0.5 mile/700m; at the gas station), make a left onto Dietlindenstraße. Coming into town from Nuremberg and the Munich Airport (The North)
At the freeway intersection Neufahrn follow the signs to the A9 freeway to "Salzburg, München, Messe/ICM". Stay on the A9. At the freeway intersection München-Nord follow the signs to "München", then to "München Zentrum", then to "München, Mittlerer Ring". Take the freeway to where it ends and connects to Mittlerer Ring (major ring road around the center of Munich). Take the "Mittlerer Ring Ost" exit. This exit is a long right turn and leads directly onto "Mittlerer Ring". Stay in the right lane because you will exit "Mittlerer Ring" again immediately. Follow the signs to "Zentrum". At the next traffic light make a right onto Ungererstraße. At the second traffic light (ca. 0.5 mile/700m; at the gas station), make a left onto Dietlindenstraße. After about 300 feet (100m) on Dietlindenstraße, you will see the office building of Knecht and Partner on the left side of the street.
Coming into town from Salzburg (The South-East)
At the freeway intersection Brunnthal follow the A8 freeway signs to "München, Zentrum". Take the freeway to where it ends (München-Ramersdorf) and connects to "Mittlerer Ring" (major ring road around the center of Munich). Take a right onto "Mittlerer Ring" (follow the signs to "Nürnberg, Mittlerer Ring Ost"). Stay on "Mittlerer Ring" for about 3.7 miles (6 km). After the segments of "Innsbrucker Ring" and "Leuchtenberg Ring" you enter the Richard-Strauß tunnel (pretty long) and the Effner tunnel (very short). You will then cross the river Isar. After about 0.5 mile (700m) take the "Schwabing" exit. You will then enter Dietlindenstraße. About 300 feet (100 m) after the first traffic light you will see the office building of Knecht and Partner on the right side of the street.
Coming into town from Stuttgart (The West)
Take the freeway to where it ends. Follow the signs to "Zentrum". Drive about 2.5 miles (4 km) straight down that street (Verdistraße and Menzinger Straße). On the right side of the street you will start to see the wall of the park connected to Nymphenburg Palace and the entry to the Botanical Gardens. Shortly after that, make a left at the large signs for "Nürnberg, Passau, München Flughafen". Follow the signs for "Nürnberg, Passau". After about 1.8 miles (3 km) you will hit the "Mittlerer Ring" (major ring road around the center of Munich). On your right the Olympic Stadium and on your left BMW World and the BMW Four-Cylinder building will come into view. The road merges in the Petuel tunnel. The tunnel ends with a glass roof. After the tunnel, stay in the right lane to exit "Mittlerer Ring". Take a right at the first traffic light (to "Zentrum") onto Ungererstraße. At the second traffic light (ca. 0.5 mile/700m; at the gas station), make a left onto Dietlindenstraße. After about 300 feet (100m) on Dietlindenstraße, you will see the office building of Knecht and Partner on the left side of the street.
Coming into town from Passau (The East)
Take the freeway to where it ends (München Steinhausen). Follow the signs to "Stuttgart, Nürnberg, München Flughafen". The street merges underground into the Richard-Strauß tunnel. You are now on "Mittlerer Ring", the major ring road around the center of Munich. Follow the tunnel to where it ends. Then continue on "Mittlerer Ring" and through the Effner tunnel (pretty short). You will then cross the river Isar. After about 0.5 mile (700m) take the "Schwabing" exit. You will then enter Dietlindenstraße. About 300 feet (100 m) after the first traffic light you will see the office building of Knecht and Partner on the right side of the street.
